A downloadable asset pack

A 2D tileset that can be used for fun, education or commercial games/posters/videos etc.

This is a practice tileset I did a few months back, so it's not really that great and can look a little off on some of the tile seams/edges, but most general layouts you shouldn't notice any seams.

An image called 'ColliderGuide' is included in the root directory, this is to help lay out polygon colliders for the cliff tileset (ColliderGuide is mostly transparent). Simply layer it on top of the cliff tile you are working on and use the lines as guides for where you should set your points/verts.

I primarily used this in Godot Engine, so I can't really help you on how to use it in another game engine.  In Godot you should set the Cell Size to 1024X512 to make the grid snap accurate.

The format is PNG and each image is 1024X1024.

You can use this tileset for anything you want, even commercially. The only limitations is if you want to redistribute it as a stand alone asset pack or bundled with other asset packs. Make sure to leave the included ReadMe.txt or mention somewhere where you acquired it. This should go without saying, but don't sell this as a stand alone asset or bundled asset pack. If you're going to make money off this at least make something with it! In the world of game dev, laziness is a crime!

You can include this asset pack bundled with a tutorial (including a commercial one), just make sure to mention somewhere where you got it, or just leave the ReadMe.txt in the file root.

If you make a game, poster, video or any other art where the assets will be blended in with the final product, there is no need to mention where you got the assets, though it is appreciated if you do.
