Update on Main Game Progress. 9


Update 9


This update I worked on an enemy model and a new tile set, both to be used in the first stage of the game.

The horse man's model, rigging and texturing are more or less done.  I may add some battle damage textures later as I don't plan on having health bars for the enemies, might even model some gory details for a death animation.  Not sure if he will be ranged or melee yet.

I still need to make a T junction for the tiles that will be used as walls, and I want to make at least a couple of variations for the grass ground tiles.  I'll also need to make some props specific for this tile set.

I'm finally getting my day job back after being kicked out for 6 or so months due to the bullshit p(l)andemic.  So this pretty much means that updates will be a lot less frequent.  I'll try to invest at lest a bit of time each weekend into this project, but I know from experience the day job tends to drain my stamina and enthusiasm.  

As much as I would like to cast the day job away, my bank account kind of needs the transfusion at the moment.  Regardless of how the future turns out for this project, I learned a lot during the past 6 or so months.
