A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Its been an interesting 3 months, but I think it's time to start working on the real game.

I started this project to get my feet wet in a non-destructive way, after a somewhat long hiatus from the game dev scene.  At this point I feel I've reached a point where working on this prototype wouldn't yield any major benefits for the time I'm putting into it.  I can keep adding and polishing, but this project was never meant to go beyond a prototype.

I now have a working knowledge of various systems that I'm going to need.  If there is a major concept that I want to try out I may revisit this project.

Thanks to working on this project I now have a good idea what shape I want my game to take.  Although I'm likely going to change and tweak a few things, most of what I did here is a good starting point.

After I have something new to show I may update with a new devlog here, because unless I plan to do an early access release, I won't make a new game page for a game that's not yet built.

If you've been following this project, thank you for your interest in it. Hopefully I'll manage to make the game I have in mind, and maybe you'll be interested in that one too.

Install instructions

Simply download whatever version you want (Linux or Windows), move and unzip to whatever directory you want on your computer.  No need to install, it's a stand alone application that you launch by activating (double clicking) on the launcher (Godot icon).  I didn't use any specific compression utility, so you should be able to decompress with Windows/Linux built in compression utilities.
